The Collector 1965
Freddy Clegg, an antisocial bank clerk pressured by his surroundings, buys a large house outside the city with a lot of money and spends all his time collecting butterflies. He kidnaps art student Miranda Gray and locks her in the basement of his house. His goal is to get the girl to approach him. Their strange relationship progresses along a love-hate line and the movie ends with a striking conclusion.
