The Diary of a Teenage Girl 2015
The story takes place in 1970s San Francisco and follows 15-year-old girl Minnie. Minnie’s favorite things are drawing and reading comic books. She constantly records her thoughts and experiences throughout the day using a recording device. Her only sexual experience is with her mother’s older boyfriend, Monroe. After this incident, she starts questioning whether it was just a physical attraction or something more, and soon finds herself searching for a way out in a world that is very different from what she imagined.
