Under the Napoleonic regime in France, François Vidocq, the only man to escape from the country’s largest penal colony, becomes a legend on the streets of Paris. He struggles to survive on the streets while also trying to regain his honor. Directed by Jean-François Richet, the 2018 French film The Emperor of Paris stars renowned French actor Vincent Cassel, known from the film La Haine. The movie was released in Turkey on July 19, 2019.
