The English Patient 1996
Laszlo Almasi is a cartographer responsible for mapping some parts of the Sahara Desert. During World War II, he is involved in a plane crash and is severely injured. He is taken care of by a nurse named Hannah and eventually moves to an old Italian monastery to live. As he settles in, he starts to recall his mysterious past.
