Ikitie 2017
Activist Jussi Ketola returns to Finland from America in 1930. One night, he is forcibly taken to the Russian border, escapes, and crosses over to the Soviet side. There, he creates a new identity and starts life from scratch. Initially, his future looks bright. But as the political climate changes, foreigners become unwanted in Stalin’s regime, and people start disappearing, his future is put in jeopardy.
