Based on a true story, the film follows the life story of a college sports hero. Ernie Davis, the first black American to win the Heisman Trophy. Although he never got to play professionally, the famous athlete’s fight for equality and respect changed American sports fundamentally and inspired future generations to overcome racism, becoming a symbol of fighting against racism.
