A group of misfit teenagers at Herrington High School realize too late that there is a problem with the teachers at their school. Are these alien creatures really disguised as humans? Should these teenagers, who can’t even get along with each other, stop them? Robert Rodriguez directed an engaging genre film that blends science fiction, horror, and teen movie tropes. While it may not satisfy fans of his film El Mariachi, it is a cult classic filled with references to many other films.
