The film “Dark Murders” is based on the true story of Alaskan detective Glenn Fleet (played by Jack Holcomb). A serial killer named Hansen is obsessed with girls aged 17-21. He kidnaps them, shoots them, and buries them in the wilds of Alaska. However, Detective Jack has no concrete evidence. But one day, a young girl named Cindy manages to escape the clutches of the killer. As Jack talks to Cindy and gathers evidence, he sets out to track down the killer. The film received mixed reviews from critics, currently holding a 58% rating on the review site Rotten Tomatoes. According to 48 reviews on the site, it has an average rating of 5.1 out of 10. The consensus on the site is that, “while the film may seem simple, Nicolas Cage’s strong performance leaves a good impression.”
