Dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) is a respected surgeon at Chicago Memorial Hospital who is accused of killing his wife. Despite his claims that a one-armed man committed the crime, the evidence is stacked against him. Kimble is found guilty and sentenced to death by lethal injection. However, during his transfer to the execution site, a plan orchestrated by other prisoners allows him to escape. Now on the run, Kimble is determined to find the one-armed man who actually killed his wife. But with relentless Detective Samuel “Sam” Gerard hot on his trail, Kimble must evade capture while also proving his innocence.
