Recent graduate Benjamin Braddock embarks on a satirical journey of self-discovery, sexuality, and love. Feeling lost after leaving high school behind, Benjamin finds himself overwhelmed by the advice of his family and family friends. His days are spent in a state of existential crisis by the pool at his parents’ house. Everything changes when he is seduced by Mrs. Robinson, his father’s business partner’s wife. As he navigates this sudden foray into the adult world, add to the mix the blow he deals when he forms a connection with the Robinsons’ daughter, Elaine.
