Andy Brewster, a successful inventor from Los Angeles, is about to make a major breakthrough with a new invention that he believes will have a huge impact on the cleaning industry. However, there’s a problem; none of the potential buyers he has met so far have shown any interest in his invention. Determined to promote his device, Andy decides to travel to different cities across the country with his quirky mother. The film, written by Dan Fogelman, the screenwriter of Crazy, Stupid, Love, is directed by Ann Fletcher, known for Step Up.
