A warning suddenly appeared without explanation. Strange and unexplained deaths started occurring in many cities across America. The cause of this bizarre change in human behavior is unknown. Is it a new attack? Did something go wrong in high-tech experiments? Is it some kind of devilish poisonous weapon? Or did a virus get out of control? Through air or water? And how? Philadelphia high school teacher Elliot Moore tries to escape this mysterious and deadly phenomenon. He sets out on the road with his wife Alma, who is on the brink of a marriage crisis. They try to escape this horrific fate by train and car. Along with his friend Julian, a math teacher, and his 8-year-old daughter Jess, they try to reach the farmlands in Pennsylvania. They think they will be safe from this terrifying attack there. Later, they will realize that no place is safe. There is no escape from this terrifying and invisible killer.
