Eddie is forty years old and still single. After losing his ex-fiancée, he meets Lila, an environmental researcher who seems too good to be true. Pressured by his father and best friend, Eddie finally proposes and they get married within six short weeks of meeting. Soon, it becomes clear that his new bride has more baggage than Eddie can handle. Lila is immature, clueless, and a monster in bed. She has a significant amount of money from various sources and only engages in volunteer work. She has no stable job. During their honeymoon in Cabo, Eddie meets Miranda. Sparks fly and Eddie falls in love. Now it’s time for the truth to come out. However, Eddie has yet to mention the real reason for being in Cabo to Miranda.
