The Hudsucker Proxy 1994
Norville Barnes, a not-so-bright small-town boy, comes to a big city with dreams of turning his perfect toy invention into reality. He starts from the bottom at the large company Hudsucker Industries and quickly rises up the ranks after the tragic suicide of the company’s chairman, Waring Hudsucker. Manager Sidney Mussberger sees an opportunity to manipulate Barnes’ naivety and installs him as the new chairman, believing he can control the company through him. Barnes’ seemingly simple invention of a hoop ends up being a huge success, causing chaos and threatening to ruin everything planned by the manipulative managers.
