Hank Palmer, a defense attorney, returns to his hometown after a long time to attend his mother’s funeral. His strained relationship with his family leads to conflicts right from the start. His father, Judge Joseph Palmer, is facing accusations of a hit-and-run accident, and Hank sets out to defend him while also trying to mend their broken family ties.
