The Juror 1996
In the 1996 film The Juror, Demi Moore plays Annie Laird, a single mother living in New York with her son, who is selected to serve on a jury in a high-profile trial. Alec Baldwin plays a ruthless hitman hired to sway her verdict. Annie, a sculptor who also works part-time to support her son, has little time for herself and is unaware of the notorious mafia boss Louis Buffano, the defendant in the trial. However, this does not stop her from becoming a target: The hitman, known only as “The Teacher,” weaves a chilling web around her to influence her decision and convince the other jurors to find Buffano innocent. Soon, Annie finds herself in a dangerous situation.
