The Kindness of Strangers 2019
Clara and her two sons decide to leave their abusive husband/father and start a new life in New York. Their car breaks down on the way, leading them to a shelter where they meet Alice, who takes them in. Clara soon meets Marc while stealing food from a restaurant called Winter Palace. Marc is working to restore the restaurant to its former glory. Winter Palace becomes a place where everyone dealing with their own crises comes together.
