The Lady in the Van 2015
The film tells the story of Alan Bennett and his real friendship with a homeless woman named Miss Shepherd. In 1970, Bennett encounters the homeless woman and invites her to live in his driveway in a Bedford van for 15 years. He later discovers that the homeless woman is actually Margaret Fairchild, a former talented student of pianist Alfred Cortot.
