The Lake House 2006
Dr. Kate Forster (SANDRA BULLOCK) feels it’s time to change things in her life. Leaving the local Illinois hospital where she completed her internship, she accepts a job at a busy hospital in Chicago. The only thing she regrets is the beautiful house she rented. Before leaving town, Kate leaves a note in the mailbox for the next tenant of the house. In the note, she leaves her new address for any mail she may receive and explains that she will be there when the mysterious paw prints on the door are moved. When new tenant Alex arrives at the house, the paw print is nowhere to be found. As Kate and Alex continue to correspond through the mailbox of the lake house, they discover they are living in two different years in incredible and unbelievable ways.
