In 1931, war hero Rannulph Junuh is invited to participate in a 36-hole golf tournament at the opening of a new golf course. Feeling rusty and unable to play like he used to, Rannulph seeks help from Bagger Vance (Will Smith). With Bagger Vance’s guidance, he not only improves his game but also learns new tricks he never knew existed.
