The Little Stranger 2018
The Little Stranger film tells the story of Faraday, a servant’s son who becomes a respected doctor nationwide. In the summer of 1948, he is called to attend to a patient at Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked. The Hall has been home to the Ayres family for over two centuries, but now its inhabitants are plagued by something more sinister than death. When Faraday sees his new patient, he has no idea how disturbing the family’s story really is. Directed by Lenny Abrahamson, the 2018 film stars Ruth Wilson and Domhnall Gleeson and falls into the horror, mystery, and drama genres.
