The Lost City of Z 2016
Explorer Percy Fawcett, who has devoted himself to the Amazon rainforests, comes across remnants of a highly advanced civilization that may have once lived in the region. When he presents his findings to the scientific community, they laugh and ridicule him. Undeterred, Percy, with the support of his wife and son, continues his research in the Amazon forests. In 1925, he mysteriously disappears, leading to many search efforts to find him and his team. Despite all attempts, the region where he disappeared becomes known as the Lost City of Z.
