The Man Who Knew Too Much 1956
American tourists James Stewart and Doris Day witness the murder of their French friend while on vacation in Africa. Before their friend dies, he warns them that an important diplomat will be killed at a concert at Albert Hall in London. Foreign agents hold James’ daughter hostage to prevent him from revealing what he knows. Unable to reach the police, James tries to rescue his daughter himself. Alfred Hitchcock brought The Man Who Knew Too Much to the screen for the first time in 1934. However, this remake from 1956 has a higher budget and is mostly the same as the original film in terms of plot, character names, and location choices (except for changing Switzerland to Morocco).
