Chasing strange daily stories that seem too bizarre to be true, a journalist finds himself caught in an astonishing mission between special forces when he uncovers a secret section of the U.S. military. Journalist Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) is after powerful news that will make his big break when he meets the mysterious Lyn Cassidy (George Clooney), who claims to be part of a experimental unit of the U.S. Army. According to Cassidy, the New Earth Army uses different methods of warfare. A unit called the “Warrior Monks” consists of individuals with unique psychic powers who can read minds, walk through walls, and even kill a goat by staring at it. The show’s creator Bill Django (Jeff Bridges) has gone missing, leaving Cassidy to find him. Intrigued and confused by Lin’s incredible stories, Bob suddenly decides to follow him. As the two head to Django’s secret camp under the leadership of fugitive psychic Larry Hooper (Kevin Spacey), Bob finds himself trapped between Django’s New Earth Army and Hooper’s personal army of good soldiers. In this challenging adventure, he will have to overcome an unexpected enemy to survive.
