Álvaro, a poor man obsessed with writing high-quality literary products. He attends typical writing courses and workshops offered by the ‘literary guru’. But he actually has no talent for these subjects. Divorce is inevitable in his personal life. He moves to a new apartment. This time, he starts writing about real characters, his neighbors, for the first time. His instructor encourages him to make the characters real, but also tells him that he needs a conflict. Without conflict, there is no story, no action, no life. Obsessed with this idea, Álvaro starts provoking conflicts. He doesn’t care about manipulating the elderly in the building, making his immigrant neighbor unemployed, or even having sex with the janitor.
