The Net 1995
Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock) is a computer scientist who hasn’t been without a modem and computer for years. Her only activity outside of computers is meeting her mother. One day, she receives a program from her online friend Dale Hessman (Ray McKinnon). The program turns out to be a code breaker. That night, Hessman dies in a plane crash. Angela discovers that the disk she received contains sensitive information. However, the virtual world has some unpleasant surprises in store for Bennett.
