Robert and Catherine Thorne are happily continuing with their lives as their family is about to expand. However, when the time comes for their child to be born, Robert learns the painful truth that the baby has died. They adopt a boy named Damien, and their lives take a dark turn as Damien grows older. Robert soon realizes the sinister nature of the child they have brought into their home.
