The Omen 2006
Irish director John Moore’s The Omen remake, released on July 6, 2006, in the US, is a legendary horror film. Starring Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles, and Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick, the film is a retelling of the original 1976 version. When a mother gives birth, her baby dies before coming to life. Her husband, Robert Thorn, swaps the dead baby with another one to spare his wife from the pain. Five years later, Robert, now the British Ambassador, faces the consequences as strange events surround his son Damien. It soon becomes clear that the child is the harbinger of doom, and stopping the impending evil will be difficult and bloody.
