The Other Guys 2010
New York Police detectives Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson) are the city’s toughest and most beloved cops. They don’t get tattoos, other guys get tattoos of them. Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) sit a desk away and a desk behind, seen in the background of Danson and Highsmith’s photos, out of focus and with their eyes closed. They’re not heroes; they’re “The Other Guys.” But every cop’s day will come. Soon enough, Gamble and Hoitz stumble upon a case that no other cop wants to touch, seemingly harmless but could turn into the biggest crime in New York City. This is their chance to shine; but will our two guys be able to handle it?
