Wickström lives in Helsinki as a cold and stern man, running a restaurant. On the other hand, there is Khaled, a young Syrian migrant fleeing Aleppo, which has become a target of bombings, with his sister. Along their journey, they lose track of Khaled’s sister and he ends up in Helsinki after traveling in the boiler room of a ship. Upon arrival, the young girl applies to the immigration office and faces many bureaucratic obstacles, only to be told that there is no problem in Aleppo and she must return to her country.
