A beautiful and determined woman leaves America after meeting a doctor named Jude working in the Ottoman Empire due to ongoing injustice in her homeland. However, during that time, the Ottoman Empire is on the brink of World War I. Realizing her loyalty to Jude, she later falls in love with a lieutenant in the Ottoman Army and must make a decision about her own life.
