The Passion of the Christ 2004
The film tells the last twelve hours before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, directed by Mel Gibson. The story begins with Jesus praying after the Last Supper. Jesus, who performs miracles and is proclaimed as the Son of God by the people, is arrested for betraying Judas. The leaders of the Pharisees accuse him of resisting Satan and blaspheming. Eventually, Jesus is sentenced to death. He is tortured for hours by the Romans at his trial and then crucified after a heavy trial.
