Larry Flynt, owner of a strip club, and his wife Althea create the pornographic Hustler magazine. When the magazine hits the market, it sparks controversy in society. The magazine both sells well and becomes a highly controversial issue. The Flynts make millions of dollars but also earn many powerful enemies in America. This dissatisfaction eventually lands the Flynts in court. They are in for a major legal battle that could cost them everything. Directed by Czech filmmaker Milos Forman, this film tells the true story of Larry Flynt, the founder of Hustler magazine. The real Larry Flynt even ironically plays a judge in the film.
