The Poseidon Adventure 1972
Poseidon, a giant passenger ship, takes its final journey before being transformed into scrap metal. On New Year’s Eve, the weary hull of the ship succumbs to the rough waves and gives way to the sea. As the ship capsizes and starts taking on water, the survivors, led by a priest, must fight for survival. Their only chance of escape is embarking on an impossible journey through the depths of the overturned and increasingly submerged ship. The group of survivors, including the head priest, an elderly couple on their way to visit their grandchildren in Israel, a merchant, a detective from New York and his former prostitute wife, two children, a famous singer, and a waiter, must navigate the maze-like corridors of the ship and band together to survive.
