The Possession 2012
A film inspired by a true story, it tells the story of a family. Recently divorced basketball coach Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and jewelry designer Stephanie (Kyra Sedgwick) are having some minor clashes, while their daughters Emily (Natasha Kalis) and Hannah (Madison Davenport) struggle with their estranged parents. Little Emily loves her father very much and hopes that her family will come back together. Clyde takes his daughters with him for a weekend together. They stop at a house they come across on the road and sell some old items. The elderly woman who owns the house recently had a tragic accident. At an antique sale, Emily notices a black wooden carved box. Her interest in the box grows and soon becomes attached to it. She is reluctant to keep the box by her side as a friend. However, there will be a series of strange events happening. Clyde, searching for a solution for his daughter, decides to seek help from Jewish religious leaders after modern medicine fails to heal her. But the answer he will receive will surprise him greatly. Some closed boxes should never be opened.
