First released in 2005, the movie The Protector proved to be a success with a high rating on IMDb and a good box office performance. Eight years later, the sequel The Protector 2 didn’t seem to satisfy the audience, as indicated by its low rating of 5.3 on IMDb. The film’s cinematic effects were notably weak. However, these guys really know how to do action scenes! Tom yum goong 2, released on October 23, 2013 in Thailand, garnered a good number of views in its own country. With a production budget of between 12 and 15 million dollars, the film was directed by Prachya Pinkaew, just like the first film, and the story was written by Eakasit Thairatana. Tony Jaa, a staple of Thai cinema, was joined by RZA, whom we saw in the film The Man with the Iron Fists. You can watch the action-packed film for 1 hour and 44 minutes without getting bored.
