Mira Nair’s film tells the story of Cengiz Khan, a talented young man of Pakistani origin, who finds success as an analyst after graduating from university. He finds love with the beautiful photographer Erica, but his life is turned upside down after the September 9 attacks. Faced with racial prejudices in America, he becomes a professor at a radical university in his homeland. Starring Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber, Kiefer Sutherland, Nelsan Ellis, and Haluk Bilginer.
