The Return of the Living Dead 1985
Supermarket employees Freddie (Tom Matthews) and Frank (James Karen) accidentally release gas while investigating a large pipe in the store’s basement containing a corpse. After being knocked out by the gas, Freddie and Frank wake up to find incredible things happening. The gas leaking from the pipe spreads throughout the store. Stuffed toys, frozen lab specimens, and the corpse in the freezer all come to life. Terrified, they call the owner of the store, When (Clu Gulager). They try to kill the reanimated corpse in the freezer, but it proves to be difficult. As a last resort, they decide to burn it at the crematorium across the street, but the smoke from the burning corpse quickly spreads to the nearby cemetery. Meanwhile, a group of young travelers partying in the cemetery suddenly find themselves surrounded by the living dead. Everyone rushes back to the store and the crematorium as the zombies slowly start to spread.
