When the Grace family (Jared, his twin brother Simon, sister Mallory, and their mother) move to the rundown old mansion once owned by their great-great-grandfather Arthur Spiderwick in New York, a series of strange events unfold. Strange creatures emerge in the mansion, unexpected occurrences take place. Moreover, there is no logical explanation for these bizarre and mysterious events.
