The Sum of All Fears 2002
Jack Ryan (Ben Affleck) is a CIA expert trying to stop terrorists who are attempting to start a third world war by using a nuclear bomb. The terrorists’ goal is to detonate the bomb and make it look like the Russians did it to provoke a reaction from America. Based on a popular novel by Tom Clancy, the film received strong criticism from the White House, especially for its depiction of a nuclear explosion scene and a wounded American president.
