The Sunset Limited 2011
Based on a play by Cormac McCarthy, this film revolves around two characters who could be called White and Black based on their skin color. Black is a devout Christian, while White is an atheist professor. The film begins with Black saving White from attempting to throw himself under a train. Throughout the film, these two engage in a debate about the existence and absence of God, the meaning of life, the evil of humanity, and the fragility of everything.
