Beyond the Pale
Former Home Secretary Edward Shore’s son Charles has recently returned from India with his family. However, he is being constantly threatened by a man named Asim. Shore seeks the help of Scotland Yard detective Mr. Whicher to investigate the matter. While Whicher looks into the situation, Asim’s body is found on the docks.
