The Tailor of Panama 2001
In this spy black comedy adapted from John Le Carré’s novel of the same name, Pierce Brosnan plays Andy Osnard, a highly effective British secret agent exiled to Panama. Andy meets a well-spoken tailor named Harry Pendel, who used to be a con artist and is now the tailor to the richest man in Panama. When Andy asks Harry for the latest gossip in the region, Harry starts making up stories to keep his past hidden. However, Harry’s stories spiral out of control and set off a chain of events that will impact the fate of the country.
