A group of researchers working in the North Pole find the body of a mammoth preserved in ice for hundreds of years. With the effects of global warming, the mammoth’s body is perfectly preserved as it was on the first day. However, shortly after, the researchers realize that the mammoth is not the only thing preserved for centuries. Along with the mammoth, a parasite that they have never encountered before has also emerged. These parasites feed on the infected host until they are completely consumed, multiplying at an alarming rate. The research team has no choice but to isolate themselves. Otherwise, the world will be in great danger. Nothing seems to help, and perhaps humanity is experiencing its final days. Unless someone sacrifices themselves…
