The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada 2005
A man is shot and killed in West Texas, and his body is quickly buried in a hidden spot in the middle of the desert. Pete Perkins, the head of a large ranch, is the deceased man’s close friend and colleague. As Pete tracks down the killer, he begins to suspect border patrol agent Mike. After kidnapping him, Pete forcibly exhumes the body from its grave. His goal is to fulfill his friend’s dying wish and bury his body in the garden of his home in Mexico. Pete, Mike, and the body of Melquiades embark on a dangerous journey towards the Mexican border.
