The Tournament 2009
Every year, the World’s Most Dangerous and Ruthless 30 Killers Tournament is held in a remote town, where only the survivor wins the $10 million prize. Organized by a consortium of billionaire gamblers who love to place big bets, this tournament is accompanied by a special broadcast that follows the participants all the way. Each participant in the tournament is given a tracking device and a handheld computer to locate their enemies. However, one of the assassins finds a way to escape from the tracking device, and alcoholic priest McAvoy accidentally swallows it. Beautiful assassin Lai Lai, one of the tournament’s famous killers, unknowingly kills her ultimate target, an innocent pregnant woman. Blaming the organizers of the tournament, Lai Lai decides to protect the priest until they reach the bettor’s office. They manage to defeat most of their rivals, but they are hunted by Joshua, who has held the championship for years. The dead pregnant woman Mary is Joshua’s wife, and she is trying to find out why his wife was killed instead of him. Together with Lai Lai, they learn that Mary has been a target since the beginning of the tournament, and Joshua embarks on a bloody journey against the powers behind the tournament.
