French director Henri-Georges Clouzot’s feature film Le salaire de la peur (The Wages of Fear), which was made between 1907-1977, is based on Georges Arnaud’s novel. Released in 1953 (at the end of 1955 in our country and as “Dreadnought Passengers”), the performance was shot in France. The film stars Yves Montand and Charles Vanel, along with Folco Lulli, Jean Gabin, Peter van Eyck, Vera Clouzot, and Dario Moreno. Retribution for Fear, which focuses on the life-threatening moments of four men who are forced to accept a job offered by an oil company, is known as the best work of director Clouseau, who is called the French Hitchcock. Saving the four people who fled their countries depends on the job being done as they wish. The four men entrusted with delivering two trucks to the right place at the right time are constantly facing death with the hope of being rescued. Additionally, there is a remake of William Friedkin’s The Wizard.
