The War Wagon 1967
Two master gunfighters who respect each other but cannot get along embark on a mission to search for gold in a successful western film. Frank Pearce (Bruce Cabot) is a powerful businessman with gold mines. Meanwhile, Thaw Jackson (John Wayne) also lays claim to the land where the gold mine is located. Frank Pearce has an armored vehicle designed to transport gold. This military minibus is made of thick iron and equipped with a Gatling gun. Pearce plans to protect this military minibus with his 30 men and transport the gold. Thaw Jackson, a former gangster released on parole, intends to take over his land and the extracted gold. Jackson teams up with his former friend and skilled marksman Lomax (Kirk Douglas) to rob a war vehicle. The team is joined by Native American Levi the Walking Bear (Howard Keel), perpetually drunk explosive expert Billy Hyatt (Robert Walker Jr.), and the peculiar elderly man Kathleen (Keenan Wynn). They manage to seize the military minibus worth $500,000. However, when the gold is divided, they are in for an interesting surprise.
