Lawrence Talbot’s childhood ends on the night his mother dies. He leaves the Victorian-style mansion in Blackmoor one night and stays away for many years to forget what happened. However, when his brother’s fiancee Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt) finds him and asks for help to find her missing lover, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that a highly powerful and bloodthirsty creature has been killing villagers and that Inspector Aberline (Hugo Weaving) from Scotland Yard has come to investigate.
