Thérèse Desqueyroux 2012
Teresa Desqueirou, from a wealthy family, married Bernard whom she decided to marry as a child. She is no longer in love with her husband, although she is now married to Bernard. Bernard is an honest and kind man, but he has become someone who loves hunting and is overly hypochondriac. Thérèse’s life and marriage in the countryside become a test as Bernard becomes more aggressive every day. To make matters worse, Bernard openly denies that Thérèse and her sister are responsible for forcing him into this marriage. The unfortunate woman is determined to put an end to her boring life and social pressures and gain her freedom. The famous French director Claude Miller, who is known worldwide for his role in the movie “Amelie”, is in the director’s chair for this film starring Audrey Tautou.
